Oct 20 (Reuters) - Australia's Bapcor BAP.AX has warned of a sharp drop in its half-year profit on Monday due to an impairment charge tied to its New Zealand business, sending its shares tumbling to their lowest level in a decade.
The auto parts retailer said it expects underlying net profit after tax for the first half of fiscal 2026 to be between A$14 million ($9.12 million) and A$18 million, down sharply from the A$45.5 million reported last year and below Visible Alpha estimates of A$41.1 million.
