BoE scrutinises Barclays over claim traders misrepresented private credit exposure, FT reports

Oct 19 (Reuters) - The Bank of England is examining whether Barclays BARC.L traders misrepresented illiquid private credit loans to understate their risk after concerns were raised by an insider, the Financial Times reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Both parties did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
