British homebuilders fall after market momentum slows

** British homebuilders index .FTNMX402020 falls 2.1% pence after Britain's housing market lost momentum for a third month in a row

** Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) said its measures of buyer demand and agreed sales were stuck in negative territory in September, as they both were in July and August

** Tarrant Parsons, RICS' head of market research and analysis, says there was a broad sense of hesitancy in the market

**  FTSE 100 homebuilder Barratt Redrow BTRW.L  down 3.5%, midcaps constituent Taylor Wimpey TW.L down 4.6%,  both among top losers on respective indices

** Including session's losses, sub-index down 7.5% so far this year, while FTSE 100 .FTSE and FTSE mid-cap .FTMC indices gain 16.5% and 7.1%, respectively
