Gold miners track bullion higher as Mideast peace hopes offset rising yields

** U.S.-listed shares of gold miners gain premarket, tracking prices of the bullion GOL/

** Spot gold XAU= was up 0.3% at $4,494.14 per ounce

** Prices rise as pressure from a firm dollar and higher Treasury yields was offset by hopes of a potential resolution to the U.S.-Iran conflict, easing some inflation concerns

** Top miners Newmont NEM.N and Barrick Mining B.N ABX.TO up 1.1% and 1.4%, respectively

** South African miners: Harmony Gold HMY.N gains 4.2%, AngloGold Ashanti AU.N up 2.5%, and Sibanye Stillwater SBSW.N 1.4% higher

** Canadian miners: Agnico Eagle Mines AEM.N rises 2.3% and Kinross Gold KGC.N up ~2%
