The total grind from the start of the 2025/26 season in October had reached 493,468 tons by the end of June, up 3.7% from the same period last season.
The GEPEX data covers six of the largest grinding companies, including Barry Callebaut BARN.S, Olam International OLAM.SI and Cargill Inc CARG.UL.
Ivory Coast, which has a total grinding capacity of 750,000 tons, is the world's top cocoa producer and vies with the Netherlands for the spot of leading grinder.
