BASF no longer able to fully supply some products due to low river levels, CEO says BERLIN, Aug 17 (Reuters) - German chemical maker BASF BASFn.DE is no longer able to fully supply certain products due to the low water levels in the Rhine River, CEO Markus Kamieth said on Monday.
Despite the challenges, the supply situation is not as bad as it was in 2018, Kamieth said, referring to another record low for the river's water level gauge at the chokepoint of Kaub near Koblenz.
