** Shares of Australia's Bass Oil Ltd  BAS.AX  rise as much
as 2.9% to A$0.038 - highest since Sept. 26
    ** Oil explorer posts 9% m/m rise in September production of
Worrior and Padulla fields in Cooper Basin, South Australia
