July 24 (Reuters) - Bausch Health BHC.TO said on
Wednesday it was not considering a bankruptcy or insolvency
proceeding of any kind and has not been involved in related
discussions with its creditors.
Shares of the company hit their lowest in nearly two years
earlier in the day, after a report from Reorg citing unnamed
sources said Bausch Health was negotiating filing for Chapter 11
bankruptcy.
Bausch, formerly known as Valeant, also said it will not
provide further comment on speculation.
U.S.-listed shares of the company have resumed trading after
a halt pending news. They are currently down 20.4% at $6.08.
