Bavarian Nordic rises on FDA approval for chikungunya vaccine
** Shares in Danish biotech Bavarian Nordic BAVA.CO rise
around 3% after it said on Friday it had received U.S. FDA
approval for its chikungunya vaccine for people aged 12 and
older
** Bavarian aims to make Vimkunya commercially available in
the U.S. and launch it in key European markets in first half of
2025, it said in a statement
** The stock is on track for its best day since January 9 if
the gains hold
