BMW lowers 2026 outlook on China downturn, Iran war June 16 (Reuters) - German carmaker BMW BMWG.DE lowered its outlook for 2026, saying on Tuesday it expected a significant decrease in group profit compared to last year due to an accelerated downturn in the Chinese market and the impact of the Iran war.
The company now expects return on capital employed (RoCE) between 1% to 5%, down from its previous expectation of 6% to 10%.
