BMW sticks to current tariff assumptions in outlook, CFO says

BERLIN, May 6 (Reuters) - BMW is only able to estimate the impact of tariffs based on existing assumptions, the German carmaker's finance chief said on Wednesday, after the company confirmed its full-year outlook despite the threat of a new tariff hike from Washington.

"The expected tariff impact on our 2026 results can still only be estimated based on our existing assumptions," Walter Mertl said, according to a transcript of his speech to investors.
