BMW is watching Chinese entrants to Europe but spared competition for now, CEO says BERLIN, July 30 (Reuters) - BMW BMWG.DE is working to keep its product offering attractive in Europe in response to the increasing presence of Chinese carmakers, but the company is not directly impacted by the competition for now, CEO Milan Nedeljkovic said on Thursday.
The German premium brand is not currently seeing a direct impact on its sales figures, Nedeljkovic told reporters after reporting quarterly results.
"Of course, we'll have to keep an eye on how the market develops going forward, and we're naturally preparing for that by ensuring the content and appeal of our product lineup remain strong so we can continue to be competitive."
