       Jan 15 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on
Wednesday:

        ** Building products distributor QXO  QXO.O  made public
its $11 billion offer to buy Beacon Roofing Supply  BECN.O  and
threatened a proxy fight after the roofing material supplier
rebuffed its overture.

        ** A takeover offer for Malaysia Airports  MAHB.KL  by a
consortium comprising the country's sovereign wealth fund and
BlackRock has been extended again to Jan. 24, a stock exchange
filing showed.

        ** U.S.-based infrastructure investment firm I Squared
Capital is weighing an offer for Hong Kong-listed broadband
operator HKBN  1310.HK  that could value it at up to $1 billion,

        ** Britain's Octopus Energy acquired the French business
of Sweden-based OX2 that develops solar power plants on
agricultural land, with Octopus planning to retain the French
team and add to the current solar portfolio in development.

    ** Pfizer  PFE.N  will sell shares worth 2.50 billion pounds
($3.05 billion) in Haleon  HLN.L , lowering its stake in the

    ** King Risk Partners has acquired Bruce Hendry Insurance,
expanding its presence in southwest Florida.

    **  France's Bureau Veritas  BVI.PA  and Switzerland's SGS
 SGSN.S  are in merger talks to create a testing and
certification giant worth more than $30 billion that would dwarf
competitors.

    ** GeoPark  GPRK.N  will not go ahead with its planned $530
million acquisition of Spain-based Repsol's  REP.MC  oil and gas
production assets in Colombia, the company said on Tuesday.
