Transactions in own shares

 

The Company announces that during the period from 17 March 2026 to 23 March
2026 ("the Disclosure Period"), it purchased for cancellation the following
number of its ordinary shares of 5.6110477936 pence each ("Shares") through
Barclays Bank plc ("Barclays"), in accordance with the authority granted by
shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 5 September 2025. All
Shares were purchased from Barclays as an "on exchange" transaction subject to
the rules of the London Stock Exchange ("LSE").

The Shares purchased during the Disclosure Period will be cancelled and will
not be held as Treasury shares. Following the cancellation of these Shares,
the Company has 94,079,408 Shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares). This
is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator when
determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change
to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's
Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
