Broadcaster RTL Group narrowly beats profit expectations in 2025

March 12 (Reuters) - European broadcaster RTL Group RRTL.DE reported 2025 full-year operating profit above expectations on Thursday, supported by a significant reduction in streaming startup losses.

The broadcaster reported adjusted operating profit of 661 million euros ($766.89 million), beating a company-provided consensus estimate of 652 million euros.

RTL expects 2026 streaming profit to be between 25 and 50 million euros and a total full-year profit of around 725 million euros.
