August 27 (Reuters) - The tech-heavy Nasdaq outperformed peers on Thursday after Nvidia's blockbuster results reaffirmed the strength of the AI boom and fueled gains in technology stocks. .N
     
At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.34% at 53,646.41. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.58% at 7,720.82, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.19% at 26,443.34.
