Request of Extension to Publish Financial Results for the Year Ended 30 June 2025

 

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited ("the Company"; AIM Symbol: BXP, LEI No.: 213800IMBBD6TIOQGB56), the fast-growing manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, announces that the Company has written to the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), the Dhaka Stock Exchange and the Chittagong Stock Exchange to request an extension to submit and publish its financial results for the year ended 30 June 2025.

 

In order to approve the final results for the Company, for the year ended 30 June 2025, a meeting of the Board of Directors is required. This is not possible currently because, in line with the Company's previous announcements, dated 21 March 2025, 21 May 2025 and 15 September 2025, BSEC's proposed appointment of an additional nine independent non-executive directors to the Company's Board of Directors remains outstanding in the High Court of Bangladesh. This also follows a similar request made by the Company on 27 April 2025, in respect of seeking an extension to publish its Q3 financial results, for the quarter ended 31 March 2025.

 

As previously announced on 15 September 2025, the Company believes that the High Court's decision on the BSEC Order will not be forthcoming until November 2025. Further announcements will be made as appropriate.
