U.S. stock indexes climbed on Monday as shrinking business activity lifted hopes
of a less aggressive approach by the Federal Reserve, even though the gains on
the Nasdaq were capped by a slump in Tesla and some Chinese firms.  .N 
    At 13:40 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.04% at
31,404.54. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.73% at 3,780.17 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.09% at 10,869.593.
