    Bank of Italy releases May data on foreign investors
holdings of Italian government bonds.

    Treasury announces sale of BTP Short and BTPei bonds, with
relative amounts to be auctioned on July 25.

    First of two-day suspension from negotiation ahead of
de-listing on July 24.
    
    FINCANTIERI  FCT.MI , LEONARDO  LDOF.MI    
    Orizzonte Sistemi Navali, the joint venture owned by
shipbuilder Fincantieri and defence group Leonardo, signed on
Wednesday a 190-mln-euro framework deal with Italy's defence
ministry to carry out maintenance works on three military ships.

    Italy's antitrust opened on Wednesday a probe into energy
groups Eni, Esso, IP, Iplom, Q8, Tamoil and Saras citing an
alleged cartel in transport fuel sales.
    
    POPOLARE SONDRIO  BPSI.MI  
    The bank said on Wednesday in a letter to its shareholders
it expects its first-half results to be above the targets laid
out in the industrial plan.

    DBRS Morningstar has assigned the banking group a 'BBB'
(low) rating and 'stable' outlook.

    Rome, price guarantee commission holds meeting to monitor
major airline prices.
    Rome, Chamber of Deputies Deputy Speaker Giorgio Mule
attends conference on "Nuclear power in Italy, scenarios and
