** Coal India COAL.NS arm reports 680.9 million loss for Q1 vs 1.77 billion rupees profit a year ago
** Q1 total income drops 4.6% year-on-year
** More than 23 million shares change hands so far on Wednesday, vs 30-day average daily volume of nearly 30 million
** Stock down 23.6% from its listing price of 45 rupees in January
