India's BEL, France's Safran to produce air-to-ground weapons in India
NEW DELHI, Nov 24 (Reuters) - India's Bharat Electronics Limited and France's Safran Electronics and Defence have signed an agreement to produce HAMMER smart precision-guided air-to-ground weapons in India, the country's defence ministry said on Monday. "The agreement formalises establishment of a Joint Venture private limited company with 50:50 shareholding," the ministry said in a statement.
