Australian miners track copper prices higher, gain most in a week

** Australian miners .AXMM rise as much as 1.4%, their biggest intraday pct gain since September 9
** Stock on track to snap four consecutive session of losses, if trend holds
** Sub-index gains as copper prices up marginally from a more than three week low earlier in the day MET/L
** Sector majors Rio Tinto RIO.AX and BHP BHP.AX gain 0.8% and 1.2%, respectively
** Stock up 12.7% YTD, including session's moves
