BANKERS PETROLEUM TO RELEASE THIRD QUARTER OPERATIONAL UPDATE AND HOLD     
                        CONFERENCE CALL OCTOBER 7, 2015                        

CALGARY, October 1, 2015 - Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSX: BNK, AIM: BNK) is
scheduled to release its 2015 Third Quarter Operational Update on Wednesday,
October 7, 2015 at 5:00 am MDT (7:00 am EDT, 12:00 pm BST). Following the press
release the Management of Bankers will host a conference call and question and
answer period for analysts and investors to discuss the results at 6:30 am MDT
(8:30 am EDT, 1:30 pm BST).
