April 9 (Reuters) - GLOBAL MARKETS ROUNDUP

* Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange  SINc1  rose 0.4 percent and the MSCI-Asia Pacific index excluding Japan

.MIAPJ0000PUS  was up 0.82 percent.

* Singapore Exchange  SGXL.SI  earlier delayed the start of trading on its derivatives market due to technical problems, the bourse said on Tuesday.  ID:nL3N0CW057

* The yen fell to new multi-year lows on Tuesday, pressured by the Bank of Japan's aggressive reflationary campaign, while Asian equities looked for support from a solid start to the U.S. quarterly earnings season.  MKTS/GLOB
