** The payments firm said late Thursday it was cutting workforce by up to 30% to increase profitability

** BILL expects to complete the restructuring by the end of the first quarter of its fiscal year 2027

** Posted third-quarter profit of $12.8 million, compared with a $11.6 million loss a year earlier

** Also announced a $1 billion share repurchase authorization

** Including session's move, BILL down 30% YTD
