Biohaven's spinal muscular atrophy drug fails to meet main goal in study
Nov 25 (Reuters) - Biohaven BHVN.N said on Monday its experimental treatment for spinal muscular atrophy, a rare nervous system dosorder, helped improve patients' motor function in a late-stage study, but failed to achieve statistical significance compared to placebo and standard of care.
