U.S. stock index futures were flat to slightly lower on Tuesday as investors
awaited labor market data, a day after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell
pushed back against market expectations for outsized interest rate cuts.  .N 
    
    At 7:36 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.21% at 42,553. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.06% at 5,811, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.05%
at 20,270.75.
