** Shares of Biome Australia Ltd  BIO.AX  rise as much as
10% to A$0.077, set for their best day since Dec. 8, if gains
hold
    ** Stock hits its highest level since Dec. 22
    ** Biotech services co says it has achieved record sales
revenue of A$3.4 mln ($2.35 mln) for first half of FY23, an
increase of 87% 
    ** Says it recorded best quarterly sales revenue of A$1.8
mln ($1.25 mln) for second quarter of FY23, an increase of 103% 
    ** Adds, sales growth driven by co's flagship probiotics
brand 'Activated Probiotics,' delivering 97% of sales for H1
FY23
    ** Stock lost ~41% in 2022
