BiomX falls after US FDA places genetic disorder treatment study on hold

** U.S. listed shares of Israel's BiomX PHGE.A fall 3.2% to 51 cents

** Co says U.S. FDA has placed a clinical hold on a mid-stage trial of its experimental treatment BX004 in patients with cystic fibrosis- a genetic disorder that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system

** Co says FDA placed the hold due to issues with third-party nebulizer device utilized to deliver BX004

     ** Co says it submitted additional requested data generated independently by the manufacturer of the nebulizer device, and this data is expected to provide the information required by the FDA to lift the hold

** BX004 is a phage therapy that targets and kill specific pathogenic bacteria to treat a type of respiratory infection in patients with cystic fibrosis

** Including session moves, stock down 28.5% YTD
