July 10 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and
stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on
the region's markets or individual stocks.
    
    BIOPHYTIS  ALBPS.PA  
    The company said it filed with the U.S. Food And Drug
Administration for an authorization to initiate its planned
SARA-31 phase 3 study linked to the treatment of sarcopenia. 
    
    CASINO  CASP.PA  
    Two rivaling refinancing offers for the cash-strapped French
supermarket retailer are set to expire on Monday. On Sunday,
paper Les Echos reported Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky and
his partners have lined up former Metro executive Philippe
Palazzi as the chief executive, should their offer succeed. 
    
    DEFENCE SPENDING
    NATO allies have reached agreement to raise the alliance's
target for military spending to at least 2% of national GDP, two
diplomats told Reuters late on Friday, ahead of a two-day NATO
summit in Vilnius this week.
    
    ERAMET  ERMT.PA : 
    French mining group is in talks with several European
carmakers over commercial agreements that would help the company
finance its lithium production project in Argentina, Chief
Executive Officer Christel Bories told Reuters at a business
conference in the southeastern city of Aix-en-Provence. 
    
    KERING  PRTP.PA  
    The French group paid 3.5 billion euros ($3.83 billion) for
acquiring high-end French fragrance label Creed in June, the
Financial Times reported on Monday, citing people familiar with
the matter.
    
    RENAULT  RENA.PA :
    A "Chinese storm" is looming over Europe's growing electric
vehicle (EV) sector, Renault Chairman Jean-Dominique Senard told
Reuters on Saturday. 
    
    SAFRAN  SAF.PA :
    The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board said on Friday
it is investigating an engine fire last week on a Boeing  BA.N 
737-900 MAX plane operated by United Airlines  UAL.O  at Newark
Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
    The LEAP-1B engine was built by French-American jet engine
maker CFM International, co-owned by General Electric  GE.N  and
France's Safran. 
    
    TOTAL ENERGIES  TTEF.PA :
    French oil giant is to invest $700 million to produce 54
billion cubic meters of gas and 13 million tonnes of condensate
with Sonatrach, the Algerian state-owned company said in a
statement on Sunday.
