Poland's statistics office to publish retail sales data at
0900.
NUCLEAR POWER
According to estimates by Polish Nuclear Power Plants (PEJ),
the costs of building the first Polish nuclear power plant,
including loans, are to amount to 192 billion zlotys ($46.86
billion), Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
FINANCE MINISTRY
The priorities of the Finance Ministry (MF) during the
Polish presidency of the European Union will be joint defence
financing, increasing the competitiveness of the economy and
deregulation, Rzeczpospolita reported.
PHARMACEUTICALS
Bioton BIOP.WA CEO Jeremy Launders said the company has
significant production capacity - up to 95 million insulin
cartridges a year - and is able to double production at its
plants to about 180 million, Parkiet daily reported.
