Australia's Birddog Technology rises as co ramps up share buyback price

** Shares of Birddog Technology BDT.AX rise as much as 40.8% to A$0.069, on track for their best day since late-December 2024, if gains hold

** The technology solutions firm says it has increased the share buyback price by 40% to A$0.07 apiece

** In early April, the company had set the share buyback price at A$0.05 per share

** About 3.8 mln shares change hands, its busiest session since April 23

** Stock currently up 36.7%, bringing YTD gains to 9.8%
