Feb 2 (Reuters) - Birla Corporation Ltd  BRLC.NS : 
 * Birla corp-Lafarge India Pvt Ltd informed co of their inability to proceed 
   with Jojobera and Sonadih sale; co to take legal measures against lafarge

With reference to the earlier letter dated August 17, 2016 regarding acquisition of Jojobera and Sonadih cement plants from Lafarge India Private Limited (LIPL), Birla Corporation Ltd has now informed BSE that LIPL has since informed their inability to proceed with the agreement. The Company has since discussed the matter with its legal advisors and has decided not to accept their contention and is in the process of taking appropriate legal measures in consultation with lawyers.
