** Shares of cryptocurrency- and blockchain-related firms gain in premarket trade

** Bitcoin BTC=, the world's biggest cryptocurrency, rises 2.86% to $122,534, while ether ETH= gains 1.2% to $3,029
** Crypto exchange Coinbase Global COIN.O up 1.8%, BTC stockpiler Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy MSTR.O, up 3.4%

** Crypto miners advance premarket: Riot Platforms RIOT.O up 3.6% and Mara Holdings MARA.O up 4.9%; Cleanspark CLSK.O  Bit Digital BTBT.O gains ~4.6%

** ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF and iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF add ~4% each

** YTD, BTC gains 30.79%
