** Shares of U.S. cryptocurrency and blockchain-related firms rise premarket as bitcoin, ether prices gain ahead of the Fed's rate decision this week

** Bitcoin BTC=, the world's biggest cryptocurrency, up 2% at $92,026.06, while ether ETH= rises 2.3% to $3,156.89

** Crypto exchange Coinbase Global COIN.O and Blockchain farm operator Bitfarms Ltd BITF.O up more than 2%

** Crypto miners: Riot Platforms Inc RIOT.O up 2%, MARA Holdings MARA.O up 2.6%, Hut 8 HUT.O up 1.9%, and Bit Digital BTBT.O up 1.3%

** BTC buyer Strategy MSTR.O gains 2.2%, BTC mining machine maker Canaan Inc CAN.O up 2.7%

** ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF BITO.P adds 2.8%; iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF IBIT.O up 2.9%

** Up to yesterday's close, BTC down 1.8%, ETH down 5.6% YTD
