- Activist investor Carl Icahn has a nearly 10% stake in
JetBlue Airways JBLU.O and may consider pushing for board
representation, in one of the billionaire's boldest moves since
a short-seller attacked his firm last year.
- U.S. lawmakers have written to various government bodies,
including the Department of Defense, seeking to investigate
Chinese biotech companies WuXi AppTec 603259.SS and Wuxi
Biologics 2269.HK over alleged ties to the Chinese military.
- Canada's BlackBerry BB.TO said on Monday it was
targeting an additional increase of $100 million in its annual
profit as the cybersecurity firm slashes costs, including
reducing workforce.
- American Electric Power AEP.O announced a deal with
Icahn Capital to give the activist investor two board seats.
- PayPal PYPL.O said in a regulatory filing Monday
