U.S. stocks rallied on Friday, putting the tech-heavy Nasdaq on course for its
best first-half performance in 40 years as Apple touched $3 trillion in market
value and signs of easing inflation comforted investors. .N

34,415.92. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.26% at 4,452.04 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 1.54% at 13,801.063.
