** Real-time geospatial intelligence solutions provider BlackSky Technology's BKSY.N shares rise 5.6% to $15.87 in premarket trading

** BlackSky wins multi-million dollar contract with U.S. government's Defense Innovation Unit to build out advanced space-based tactical intelligence

** Under the contract, BlackSky will prepare and manage Gen-3 satellite launch on behalf of customer

** BlackSky will support end-to-end, pre-flight to on-orbit activities, including hardware and systems integration, launch site and mission management as well as commissioning services

** Stock fell 3.7% in 2024
