India's Bliss GVS Pharma surges on quarterly profit climb

** Shares of Bliss GVS Pharma  BLIS.NS  rise as much as 
10.6%, last up 8.6% at 121.7 rupees
    ** Stock hits highest price since May 3
    ** Pharma co's June-quarter profit rose ~41% YoY
    ** Rival Torrent Pharmaceuticals'  TORP.NS  profit rose less
than expected, sending its shares down on Wednesday
    ** Nifty Pharma index  .NIPHARM , which BLIS is not part of,
up 0.84%
    ** BLIS down ~1% YTD vs ~24% rise in pharma index, which
includes rivals TORP and Mankind Pharma  MNKI.NS
