Block profit rises as consumer spending remains resilient
Nov 6 (Reuters) - Block XYZ.N reported a rise in third-quarter profit on Thursday, as the Jack Dorsey-led company was helped by strong consumer spending trends. The company reported net income of $462 million, or 74 cents per share, during the quarter ended September 30, compared with $284 million, or 45 cents per share, a year ago.
