Bloober Team announces new horror games for Saw, Star Trek franchises June 8 (Reuters) - Polish horror game developer Bloober Team BLOP.WA announced two new games — "Saw: Genesis" and "Star Trek: Shadow Frontier" — over the weekend at the Summer Game Fest event in Los Angeles.
The company also announced a DLC, additional downloadable content, to its award-winning game "Cronos: The New Dawn", titled "Cronos: Lazarus".
"Saw: Genesis" is set to launch in early access formula on PC in the fourth quarter of 2026
The game is based on the "Saw" franchise owned by Lions Gate Ancillary
It will be a three-versus-one multiplayer horror title set 100 years before the events of the Saw films and Jigsaw
The game will be published by Bloober Team and is being developed by Anshar Studios in collaboration with Lions Gate and Broken Mirror Games
"Star Trek: Shadow Frontier" is a third-person story-driven action-adventure set in the Star Trek universe
The game will feature actress Michelle Forbes who will reprise her role as Ro Laren from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Picard" television series
"Star Trek: Shadow Frontier" is being developed by Bloober Team and will be published by Paramount Games
The game will debut on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027
The "Cronos: Lazarus" DLC will launch in the fourth quarter of 2026 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2
