Bloom Energy rises on Oracle deal for fuel cells to power AI data center

** Shares of  power solutions firm Bloom Energy BE.N rise 2.5% to $240.3 in extended trading

** Oracle ORCL.N and BorderPlex Digital Assets announce that a planned AI data center campus in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, will use Bloom Energy's fuel cells for its full power needs

** The data center will be supported by up to 2.45  gigawatt (GW) of installed Bloom fuel cell capacity

** The updated power design will replace previously planned gas turbines and diesel generators and consolidate the facility into a single microgrid campus

** Oracle says it will bear all energy costs for the project

** Fuel cells make electricity by combining fuel and oxygen, without burning the fuel

**  Up to last close, BE up 170.1% YTD
