Blue Owl says software asset share in traded private credit fund declines
NEW YORK, May 7 (Reuters) - The share of software assets in publicly-traded Blue Owl OWL.N private credit fund Blue Owl Capital Corporation OBDC.N declined to 16% from 19% in the first quarter of the year, the fund's president said. Private markets firms have faced questions from investors about their holdings in software firms as artificial intelligence threatens to disrupt their business models.
