India's Blue Star hits record high on share sale to institutional investors

** Shares of Blue Star Ltd  BLUS.NS  advance as much as 15.3% to 922.6
rupees, hitting a record high     
    ** The Indian AC maker said on Monday it launched a qualified institutional
placement of up to 10 bln rupees ($120.15 million) at floor price of 784.55 per
share
    ** Shares up for third straight session; will see best day in three years,
if current trend holds 
    ** Nearly 5 mln shares change hands as of 1142 IST, 32.3x 30-day avg of
154,669 shares
    ** BLUS shares up 49% YTD
