Blueprint Medicines falls as FDA puts partial hold on cancer drug trial

** Shares of drugmaker Blueprint Medicines Corp  BPMC.O 
fall 5.8% to $41.73 premarket
    ** U.S FDA has placed a partial clinical hold on company's
early-stage trial of its experimental cancer drug, BLU-222, due
to safety concerns, BPMC says
    ** Visual problems such as light sensitivity and blurred
vision are observed in a limited number of patients - company
    ** Patients currently enrolled in the trial will continue on
the drug, but additional patients will not be enrolled until the
partial clinical hold is resolved - BPMC
    ** Stock lost ~59% in 2022
