Board Change and Director's Disclosure
 
BlueRock Diamonds plc, the AIM listed diamond mining company which owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine in the Kimberley region of South Africa ("Kareevlei"), announces that Paul Beck has today resigned as Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. The Board wishes to thank Paul, a founder director of the Company, for the support and commitment he has shown the Company over the last 6 years.  Paul wishes Michael Houston every success as the Company's new Chairman and will remain available as a consultant to the Company.
 
In accordance with AIM Rule 17, the Company announces that Non-Executive Director of the Company, Timothy Leslie and James Caird Asset Management LLP (an entity of which Mr. Leslie is a partner and owner)  reached a voluntary settlement (the "Settlement") with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States of America ("SEC") on 2 June 2016 (Administrative Proceeding File No. 3-17276); the full details of which can be found on the SEC website at https://www.sec.gov/litigation/admin/2016/ia-4413.pdf . The SEC acknowledged the assistance of the U.K.'s Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") in respect of this matter.
 
Tim Leslie was at the time of the Settlement and remains an FCA approved person, performing a number of significant influence functions in relation to JCAM Investments Limited (a Company authorised by the FCA and wholly owned by Mr Leslie). No action was taken by the FCA in respect of the matters the subject of the Settlement.
