BlueRock Diamonds PLC ('BlueRock' or the 'Company')
Operations Update
BlueRock Diamonds Plc (BRD), the AIM listed diamond producer, which owns and
operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine ('Kareevlei') in the Kimberley region of
South Africa, announces an update on operational activity.
Further to the announcement dated 23 January 2023 and following discussions
with the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (the 'DMRE'), operations
at Kareevlei recommenced on 25 January 2023.
There was no disruption to operations when the plant restarted as there was
sufficient stock on the ore stockpile and ROM pad. The major remedial action
was the installation of a fire retardent conveyor belt and activation of
proximity distance sensors on plant at the mining operation.
