BlueRock Diamonds PLC, the AIM listed diamond producer, which owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine ('Kareevlei' or the 'Mine') in the Kimberley region of South Africa, is pleased to announce the sales of the 8.97 carat diamond and the 16.28 carat diamond, recovered earlier this month as reported in the Company's announcements of 5 and 8 February 2019 respectively.
The 8.97 diamond achieved a price of $8,306 per carat valuing it at $74,513 and the 16.28 carat diamond sold for $4849 per carat valuing it at $78,947.
Adam Waugh, CEO, commented, "We have sold two high quality 8.97 carat and 16.28 carat, D colour diamonds in the February tender, further strengthening our confidence in the potential of the Mine and the quality of diamonds it produces."
