BlueRock Diamonds PLC ('BlueRock' or the 'Company')

Trading suspension

 

The Board of BlueRock Diamonds Plc (BRD), the AIM listed diamond producer,
which owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine ('Kareevlei') in the
Kimberley region of South Africa, announces that it has requested that trading
in the Company's shares on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange be
suspended due to financial uncertainty resulting from its principal operating
subsidiary, Kareevlei Mining (pty) Limited, being placed into Business Rescue.
The Company expects to provide a further update shortly.
