Update on Claims by a Former Company Director
and Total Voting Rights
 
BlueRock Diamonds plc, the AIM listed diamond mining company which owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine in the Kimberley region of South Africa, announces an update on claims made by Mr Visser, a former Director of the Company.
 
Mr Visser has submitted a claim for ZAR 975,000 (approximately £55,000) in relation to the use of a generator in 2016.  This amount had originally been included in his original claim announced on 23 February 2017 but subsequently removed by him.  The Company's legal advice is that Mr Visser's claims have no merit and the Company intends to defend them vigorously.
 
Total Voting Rights
In accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, BlueRock Diamonds hereby announces that it has 443,524,243 ordinary shares of 0.01p each in issue, none of which are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 443,524,243.
The above figure of 443,524,243 may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
